Principal Investigator

Dr. Sonam Dhamija
Dr. Sonam Dhamija is an Assistant Professor at the South Asian University, New Delhi since September 2025. She started the lab at CSIR-IGIB in November 2020 as a Ramalingaswami Fellow and later secured a DBT/Wellcome Trust India Alliance Intermediate Fellowship in 2023. She has done her postdoctoral work at the Department of Thoracic Surgery at Freiburg University Clinic and German Cancer Research Centre (DKFZ) at Heideliberg. She did her PhD under Prof. Helmut Holtmann at the Hannover Medical School (MHH), Germany on the posttranscriptional mechanisms mediated by Interleukin-1.
